After finishing the first Mandarin Chinese level 1 course at the Sergio Arboleda University of Colombia (corresponding to the official HSK1 level, equivalent to level A1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), the new Chinese training programs that will be offered to its students are already planned.
The course began the 2 of october, in this case HSK2 level (equivalent to A2 level). Given the great reception of the course that has just finished among the students and the result obtained in it, where everyone managed to pass it, they will have the opportunity to pass another official level of Chinese in just 3 months.
We remind you that these Mandarin Chinese training programs are the result of the Collaboration Agreement signed between the Sergio Arboleda University and Mandarin Centers Institute at the beginning of this year, which will facilitate access to official Mandarin Chinese programs to all students of the University, both in Bogotá and in Barranquilla and Santa Marta.
The Level 2 course that will start tomorrow will use the Encounters Program, designed by Yale University in direct collaboration with the Chinese publishing house Sinolingua, as a guiding thread.
This course will be taught in a 100% online, face-to-face virtual format. Students will have access to both the Mandarin Centers VirtualClassroom and the Encounters program, which will allow them to enjoy countless resources focused on improving spoken language and communication skills, with a clear practical orientation.
This second course reinforces the commitment made by the Sergio Arboleda University to promote the teaching of a language as important in the near future employment of its students as Chinese.
At the same time, both institutions are already planning the start of a new level 1 course which will be published shortly and, as happened in its first edition, it is expected a great demand from students.
