Chinese course book
The material is designed to enable students to pass the official Chinese proficiency exam, the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi). Regulated by the Confucius Institute, the exam consists of two tests—reading and listening comprehension—with a third component (written expression) added at the intermediate level.
This assessment system comprises six levels that correspond to the European framework. The material is endorsed by two major official institutions: Beijing Language and Culture University and Hanban.
