All our teachers are native speakers with specific qualifications for teaching Mandarin Chinese as a second language.
Didactic material
Our Chinese course for adults features specially crafted books designed for teaching this language to Western students. TThe course comprises five volumes corresponding to different proficiency levels, ranging from beginner (HSK 1 and HSK 2), intermediate (HSK 3 and 4) to advanced (HSK 5). Each volume includes a textbook, an exercise book, and an audio CD.
Chinese course book for adults
Our course material is meticulously crafted to prepare students for official Chinese exam, HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi), regulated by the Confucius Institute. The exam consists of two components—written and oral comprehension—with a third (written expression) added from the intermediate level onwards. The HSK measurement system comprises six levels aligning with the aforementioned proficiency levels. Additionally, a HSK 6 corresponds to a C2 in the European framework. To provide a reference, levels 1 and 2 are comparable to A1 and A2 (basic); 3 and 4 equate to B1 and B2 (intermediate), while 5 is similar to C1 (advanced).
Endorsed by two prominent official institutions responsible for promoting and regulating Mandarin Chinese globally—Beijing Language and Culture University and Hanban— the material is designed to facilitate the understanding of Mandarin language structures and functions. It aims to nurture cultural knowledge, fostering the development of communicative and comprehension skills.
