Collaboration between Mandarin Centers Institute and the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Mandarin Centers Institute and the Escuela Superior de Medicina Tradicional China have signed a cooperation agreement to offer their students from both Spain and Latin America access to Mandarin Chinese training programs at preferential rates.

The Mandarin Centers Institute is an educational institution that specializes exclusively in the teaching of the Mandarin Chinese language. Founded in 2005, it has an extensive network of collaborations with universities and educational institutions, as well as a wide network of centers in Spain and Latin America.

Mandarin Centers Institute is an official examination center for the different levels of Mandarin Chinese, so its programs follow the official Chinese curriculum, offering students the opportunity to obtain the different official certificates upon passing the established levels.

Chinese language certification is a requirement to apply for one of the many scholarships the Chinese government offers each year for language study in China.

The school also offers a wide range of professional training courses in areas as diverse as Chinese tourism, business and protocol with China, digitalization and Chinese social networks, etc., in addition to language training programs.

For its part, the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, affiliated to the European Foundation for Complementary and Integrative Traditional Medicine and founded in 1989, is a pioneer in the field of teaching Chinese medicine in Spain. Since 1990, the Escuela Superior de MTC has offered the Higher Studies of TCM (basic and complete training in Chinese medicine). And since 2003, it also offers seminars and training courses in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, through the Association Practitioner’s Register and in collaboration with the Universities of Chinese Medicine of Beijing and Yunnan. Since the 2015-2016 academic year, its higher studies in acupuncture and Chinese medicine are part of the educational offer of the European University of the Atlantic.

In addition to its extensive network of centers in Spain, ESMTC has a large international presence, with centers in Colombia and Chile, and a large number of students from the different countries that make up the Latin American region who participate in its e-learning programs.

The Escuela Superior de MTC was the first training center in Chinese medicine to incorporate new technologies among its teaching resources, its students can be trained through two different modalities: blended learning and online (e-learning).

In the same way, Mandarin Centers Institute has a virtual training platform adapted to the needs of Chinese language training, which allows it to offer this virtual modality to ESMTC students who are already following their studies in this way.

In this case, the teaching team of Mandarin Centers Institute has designed and programmed a course exclusively for ESMTC students, with a weekly frequency, it will be taught every Monday and Wednesday with a class load of 2 hours per class. The schedule for the different reference regions will be as follows
