Mandarin Centers Institute participates in ICLECE 2022 Beijing

Mandarin Centers Institute, represented by its CEO, Carlos Chan, had the opportunity to participate in the International Conference and Exhibition on Chinese Language Education (ICLECE 2022), held in Bejing from December 8 to 10. Under the theme “Building New Lanscape, Pursuing Higher Quality”, more than 1,800 representatives and experts from over 100 countries attended and participated in the Congress where they had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in Chinese language education, share ideas and strengthen ties in pursuit of excellence in this field.
Currently, more than 180 countries and regions have introduced Chinese language learning and more than 81 countries teach Chinese as part of the curriculum of their national education systems. In total, more than 30 million people are currently learning Chinese. Mandarin Centers Institute, as an institution with more than twenty years of experience teaching Chinese language training programs globally, was invited to participate by CLEC (Center for Language Education and Cooperation), the organizing entity, to share its experience in language training in the field of tourism.
With the title “Education through Tourism”, its CEO shared the experience of the entity in the training of professionals in the tourism sector with respect to Chinese tourism. The opportunities that digitalization offers to the different tourist destinations to bring their offer closer to the Chinese market as well as the importance of language training to generate and create a good traveler experience.
To conclude his speech, he reflected on the enormous attractions that Latin America has to offer the Chinese tourist and shared with the attendees the various success stories of governments and tourist destinations with which they are already working on training projects in the tourism sector.
